The Public Health Care Authority, in cooperation with Infomine and Amgen, announced the “You are the support” – “انت السند” initiative, which includes a free screening of 1,114 women for early detection of osteoporosis. This initiative was launched in sync with the celebration of the International Day of Osteoporosis, which is celebrated by the World Health Organization on 20 October of each year, to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and detection of osteoporosis.
The initiative aimed at free early detection of osteoporosis, especially among women, as they are the most vulnerable group to osteoporosis after the age of 50.
Infomine was part of this successful initiative, as it participated in this initiative through its Patient Detection Specialists (PDS) team, which is spread all over Egypt, and the team was able to achieve the goal of this initiative; screening 1,114 women helping spread awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and detection of osteoporosis.
This was not the first time for Infomine in participating in Osteoporosis awareness campaigns, as last year Infomine received a world record certificate from the Guinness World Records in achieving the most osteoporosis screenings in 24 hours in through Amgen’s ” Break Records, Not Bones” campaign.
Infomine seeks through its PDS team to help in spreading awareness among people about osteoporosis and encourage them to pay more attention to bone health to help them live their life better.
